Dieses müssten wir oben links in der Leiste erlauben, damit der Flashinhalt abgespielt wird.

Warum ist das so?
Ihr bekommt Updates für den Adobe Flash Player, wenn dieser installiert wurde. Für Linux gibt es aber nur Sicherheitsupdates und keine allgemeine "Playerupdate". Das bedeutet unter Linux habt Ihr die Version 11, dabei wären wir bereits bei Version 16. Um euch zu schützen warnt euch Firefox und blockt Flashinhalte.

Tronsmart Draco AW80 | Testbericht

Ich besitze die Tronsmart Draco AW80 7 Wochen lang und konnte somit die Box ausführlich testen. Die technische Daten findet Ihr hier und ein Unboxing/erster Eindruck hier.
Das Fazit findet Ihr ganz unten im Artikel (wenn Ihr nicht viel lesen möchtet).

Die Firmware ist sehr Stock gehalten, keine zusätzlichen Launcher oder sonstiges, was für mich persönlich ein riesen Pluspunkt ist.

Die vorinstallieren Apps sind teilweise ein Witz, wie zum Beispiel MySpace.

Ihr könnt alle diese Apps entfernen und bekommt ein sauberes System, mit einem System-Updater und Dateimanager.

Bei der 2GB Version steht euch gut 1GB RAM zur Verfügung. Ein Teil vom Arbeitsspeicher geht zur GPU, was auch in Ordnung ist.

Kommen wir zum Test selbst:
Ich habe die AW80 einen ganzen Tag durchlaufen lassen - keine große Wärmeentwicklung.
Eine ganze Woche am Stück laufen lassen und Videos abgespielt - keine Probleme!
Es läuft alles sehr stabil, keine große Wärmeentwicklung, es hängt sich nichts auf und es läuft sehr schnell aber nicht so flüssig, wie ein Nexus Gerät (hätte ich auch nicht mit gerechnet).

Beim Benchmark erreicht es zu 95% einen Wert von über 50.000 Punkten, bei AnTuTu.

Abgesehen von den Benchmarks läuft die AW80 sehr schnell und flüssig.

Der CPU ist langweilig, weil es nicht wirklich eine Aufgabe gibt, welche den CPU auslastet. 

Die AW80 kommt von Werk aus mit Root und die Rechte werden über die SuperSU-App von Chainfire verwaltet, was ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist und viele so vom Smartphone kennen.  

Beim Internet gibt es über LAN aber auch über WLAN keinerlei Probleme. Da ich oft IPTV schauen, aus dem Ausland, ist das sehr wichtig für mich. Ich komme zwar nicht über 60 Mbps aber für die meisten Anwender sollte das schnell genug sein, da so eine schnelle Leitung nicht die Regel ist. 

Google Play bereitet uns auch keine Probleme, nur bei Live-Wallpapern konnte ich einige nicht herunterladen, sonst konnte ich alle Apps installieren, die ich auch täglich nutze. Spiele wie Asphalt konnten auch ohne Probleme gespielt werden. 

Ich liste euch einfach mal auf, was ich alles probiert habe: 

- Filme über eine alte SATA-Festplatte abspielen läuft sehr schnell. Kaum Ladezeiten und keine Verzögerung, selbst wenn ich im Film hin und her springe. 

- 3D Filme konnten ohne Probleme abgespielt werden. So gut wie jedes Format konnte ich abspielen, selbst DVD's mit einem Menü führten hier nicht zum Problem. 

- Kamera anschließen (Webcam) und Videos aufzeichnen lief ohne Probleme

- Fernbedienung funktioniert sehr gut! Einschalten und ausschalten sowie Standby alles möglich

- Internet über LAN und WLAN kaum zu unterscheiden. Signalstärke gut bis sehr gut!

- Stream schauen (über 5 Stunden) ohne das es hängen bleibt

Fazit: Es gibt nicht viel zur AW80 zu sagen. Keine Box kommt Ende 2014 gegen die AW80 an! 

Wer tief in die Tasche greifen will, der bekommt hier ein Monster und sicherlich die beste Android TV/Box/mini PC 2014. Custom ROMs gibt es bereits, selbst TWRP (Custom Recovery) gibt es für die Tronsmart AW80. Es gibt wirklich nur zwei Punkte, welche mich persönlich gestört haben. 1) Die LED an der Front, welche zu stark ist und 2) die Firmware selbst. Bei der AW80 gibt es noch gut Luft nach oben, die Firmware läuft bereits sehr gut aber es ist deutlich mehr möglich.

Alles zu Chrome OS und Chromebook | Linux-Handbuch

Chrome OS ist eine Linux-Distribution von Google, welche auf Chromebooks zum Einsatz kommt. Neben dem Chromebook gibt es noch die Chromebox. Der Unterschied ist ganz schnell erklärt:

Ich möchte euch in diesem Artikel erklären, was Chrome OS ist, wie es aufgebaut ist, welche Gruppe es anspricht bzw. für wen es geeignet ist und meine persönliche Erfahrung dazu.
Die Idee hinter Chrome OS ist ein einfaches System, welches wenig Hardware (Leistung) benötigt und somit sehr günstig ist. Stellt euch einfach vor - Linux mit dem Chrome-Browser und einem Dateimanager. Ihr habt kein Laufwerk (CD/DVD/BL), keine große Festplatte, nur einen kleinen Flash Speicher von 16 bis 128 GB und zusätzliche Installationen sind nicht notwendig, da alles über Webanwendung betrieben wird. Nützliches, wie USB-Ports, einen HDMI-Port, usw. usf. gibt es aber! Wer Google Dienste nutzt (alleine durch Android wird das ein großer Teil sein)

dem wird Google Dirve, Google Tabellen, Youtube, Google Mail, usw. usf. nicht neu sein! Viele vergessen die weiteren Web-Apps von Google Chrome.

Hier gibt es weitere (Web) Anwendungen, welche alle über Google Chrome laufen (nicht mit Google Play von Android verwechseln). Nach einer Installation sind diese Webanwendungen im "Startmenü" zu finden:

So sieht der Desktop von Chrome OS aus.
Der riesen Vorteil ist die unglaubliche Geschwindigkeit. Ein kalter Systemstart dauert bei mir keine 4 Sekunden und alles ist geladen, herunterfahren keine 3 Sekunden. Videos in 1080p werden flüssig dargestellt und dank Chrome habt Ihr immer den neusten Adobe Flash Player.

Ich nutze jetzt Chrome OS knapp zwei Monate und am ersten Tag wusste ich bereits wo sich alles befindet. Der andere große Pluspunkt ist Google selbst. Mit eurer Google-Mail-Adresse ist alles abgesichert. In meinem Fall wären das alle Kontakte, Mails, Dokumente und Dateien (Google Drive - Cloud). Würde mein Chromebook den Geist aufgeben, dann müsste ich mir nur ein neues kaufen und mich mit meinem Account anmelden, schon wären 95% der Dateien wieder vorhanden, ohne das ich irgendwas zusätzliches installieren müsste.

Viele Hersteller bieten ein Chromebook an, in meinem Fall handelt es sich um das HP Chromebook 14-q030sg, welches ich wegen dem 14 Zoll großen Display und Intel gekauft habe. Intel in diesem Fall wichtig, wenn man Linux auch installieren möchte. Wer mehr RAM haben möchte, es gibt auch Chromebooks mit 4 GB Arbeitsspeicher, größerem internen Speicher und sogar SIM-Karten-Steckplatz.
Die Akkulaufzeit ist sehr gut (+8 Stunden bei mir), leicht, dünn, man hört fast nichts, der Preis ist sehr gut, Linux kann zusätzlich installiert werden und per Tastenkombination springt man hin und her ... 16 GB Speicher sind nicht wirklich viel aber dank SD-Kartensteckplatz und mehreren USB-Ports (einer hier sogar USB 3.0) komme ich ohne Probleme damit zurecht.

Ein Tipp noch von mir: Wer es mal probieren möchte, der kann bei eBay sich sehr günstig die alte Generation ersteigern. In Zukunft werde ein paar Anleitungen zum Chromebook schreiben (wie Linux installieren, usw. usf.)

Ich hatte es angekündigt und nun ist es soweit, auch wenn ich immer noch nicht weiß, ob es wirklich Sinn macht. Habe mich für das Blackberry entschieden, wegen der Tastatur, der langen Akkulaufzeit und natürlich dem Preis. Zusätzlich eine Simkarte mit einer Datenflatrate, damit ich bei Bedarf auch das Smartphone mitnehmen kann. Dieses Gerät wird ausschließlich für den Support genutzt!
Werde es jetzt unter den Monitor legen, damit ich die LED immer gut sehen kann. 2-3 Tage auf eine Antwort warten fällt somit weg ;)

Opera-Browser installieren | Linux

Ihr geht auf die Homepage von Opera (externe Link) und klickt auf Herunterladen. 

Doppelklick auf die heruntergeladene Datei 

Auf Paket installieren klicken > Passwort eingeben und kurz warten. 

Ihr könnt es auch über das Terminal installieren (Anleitung).

Sollte diese Frage erscheinen, dann empfehle ich euch diese mit <Ja> zu bestätigen (Pfeiltasten und Entertaste benutzen). Das aber auch nur, wenn Ihr die heruntergeladene Datei direkt bei Opera (wie hier beschrieben) heruntergeladen wird. In Zukunft bekommt Ihr dann automatisch die Updates für Opera (mit)installiert. 

Opera hat die Betaphase verlassen und benutzt Chromium als Unterbau. 

Barrier Breaker 14.07 Update flashen | OpenWrt

Mein TL-WDR3600 von TP-Link läuft mit OpenWrt weiterhin sehr stabil. Anfang Oktober 2014 wurde Barrier Breaker 14.07 veröffentlicht. Ich will hier nur kurz was zum WDR3600 sagen und euch erklären, wie Ihr die Update aufspielen könnt. Die eigentliche Anleitung könnt Ihr euch hier anschauen bzw. einfach die Blogsuche verwenden und nach OpenWrt suchen.

4 Geräte (PS4, Android mini PC/TV, SmartTV und Banana Pi), als Repeater im 5 GHz Band (1x Chromebook, 2x Smartphone & 1x Tablet) und Wochen ohne Neustart oder Performance-Einbrüche - alles für rund 40€, dank OpenWrt. 10m, hinter einem Fernseher, zwei Wände und das im 5 GHz Band bei rund 50%. In anderen Worten - ich mehr als zufrieden! Kommen wir zur Update, welche ich jedem empfehlen kann (für die WDR3600):

Anleitung auf eigene Gefahr! Weder ich, noch sonst irgendwer übernehmen eine Haftung, für irgendwelche Schäden, die durch das befolgen dieser Anleitung geschehen!

Router über die IP-Adresse aufrufen, anmelden und dann unter System den Punkt Backup / Flash Firmware aufrufen (wie geht das?).

Hier erst einmal auf Generate archive klicken, um ein Backup (Sicherung) zu erstellen. Im Notfall könnt Ihr mit dieser gleich zurück, wenn es Probleme geben sollte, was beim WDR3600 v1.5 und Breaker 14.07 nicht der Fall sein sollte.
Auf der Homepage werden euch immer zwei Dateien angeboten:

1. openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wdr3600-v1-squashfs-factory.bin
2. openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wdr3600-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Wir benötigen hier die squashfs-sysupgrade.bin Datei, da wir eine Update durchführen wollen (OpenWrt bereits auf dem Router installiert).

Diese fügen wir dann unter dem Punkt Flash new firmware image ein (auf Datei auswählen klicken und heruntergeladene Datei auswählen). Unter dem Punkt Keep settings ist immer ein Haken gesetzt. Mit Haken werden keine Einstellungen gelöscht. Ich habe den Haken entfernt, da ich alles neu einrichten wollte. Klickt dann auf Flash Image...

Hier wird uns noch einmal alles aufgelistet und wir klicken auf Proceed

Jetzt heißt es einfach warten. Der Router wird einen Neustart durchführen, somit wird die Verbindung im Laufe des Flashvorgangs getrennt. Für euch heißt es einfach warten, am besten 10 Minuten, um auf Nummer sicher zu gehen.

Das wäre es dann auch schon.
