VirtualBox installieren und einrichten | Linux Mint 18 | 2017

Für die Installation müssen wir uns zwei Dateien herunterladen, welche wir auf der Homepage von VirtualBox finden.

1. Downloads --> VirtualBox 5.1.14 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack  -->
All supported platforms
2. Auf der selben Seite klicken wir dann auf --> Linux distributions

Uns werden mehrere Versionen angeboten und immer zwei Dateien --> i386 (32-bit) & AMD64 (64-bit). Wählt die richtige Datei und ladet euch diese herunter.

Jetzt müsstet Ihr zwei Dateien haben.
Rechtsklick --> Im Terminal öffnen

1. sudo dpkg -i DATEINAME.deb 
2. sudo adduser BENUTZERNAME vboxusers

Optional: Um zu überprüfen, ob etwas fehlt, einfach den Befehl:
sudo apt-get -f install

ausführen. 

Mit der anderen Datei schalten wir alle weiteren Funktionen frei. 

Rechtsklick auf Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-X.X.XX-XXXXX.vbox-extpack --> 

Mit anderer Anwendung öffnen

In der Liste nach Oracle VM VirtualBox suchen, anwählen und mit OK bestätigen.

Installieren

Zustimmen (bei Ablehnen wird die Installation angebrochen)

Mit OK bestätigen, die Anwendung schließen und neu starten.

Jetzt könnt Ihr mit VirtualBox arbeiten und alle Funktionen nutzen.

Persönlich deaktiviere ich die automatischen App-Updates über Google Play. Deshalb weiß ich ganz genau, welche App heute morgen das Problem verursacht hat - Google Hangouts! Ich nutze diese nicht einmal aber nach einer Update habe ich 8% Akku verloren, nach etwa 30 Minuten. Die verbleibende Laufzeit wurde mit 5 Stunden angegeben, von 92% aus gerechnet.

Beim Akkuverbrauch erkennt man dann ganz schnell, dass das Display nicht an erster Stelle steht, dabei muss das der Fall sein, wenn das Smartphone aktiv genutzt wird - ohne Ausnahme!
Wer das Problem hat, der sieht unter "Aktiv" einen durchgehenden blauen Balken. Das liegt daran, das die Google Dienste das Gerät nicht "einschlafen" lassen.

Um das Problem zu lösen: Einstellungen -> Apps -> Google Play-Dienste

Speicher -> Speicherplatz verwalten -> Alle Daten löschen -> Ok

Wer jetzt denkt, das alle Daten weg sind, der hat hier einen Denkfehler. Die Google Dienste verknüpfen Dienste. Beispiel: Habt Ihr die App-Daten gelöscht, wie oben beschrieben, dann wird beim Start von Google Play Spiele die Frage erscheinen, mit welchem Account Ihr angemeldet werden möchtet. Das liegt eben daran das die App-Daten gelöscht wurde. Der Spielstand oder andere Daten bleiben weiterhin vorhanden.
