Samsung 128GB EVO Plus | Test | MicroSD | Speicherkarte

Als Samsung die EVO Plus Reihe angekündigt hat, habe ich mir die 128GB Version vorbestellt. Da es viele Kopien/Fakes gibt (siehe hier) habe ich diese direkt über Amazon bestellt. Mir reichen die 32 GB intern (Note 4) mit der 64 GB großen Samsung Pro aber bei so kleinen Summen könnte man schon aufrüsten, besonders wenn jetzt der Sommer kommt und viele in den Urlaub fahren/fliegen - mehr Bilder machen. 4K Videos sind ja auch nicht wirklich klein und die Spiele werden auch immer größer (FolderMount-Anleitung).

Im Vergleich zur Samsung Pro und EVO sprechen wir hier von über 50% mehr Leistung bei Lesegeschwindigkeit (Werte von der Pro) und fast die selben Werte bei der Schreibgeschwindigkeit. Die EVO Plus ist halt länger stabil und bricht nicht so schnell ein wie die Pro oder die EVO.
Wer mit dem Gedanken spielt sich eine zu kaufen, der sollte warten, wenn er warten kann. Ich selbst habe 59,57€ bezahlt und momentan dreht sich der Preis um rund 80€.
Sollte es in Zukunft Probleme geben, dann wird es hier eine Update geben (ganz oben im Artikel).

2TB Umbau | Playstation 4 | Anleitung

Ist ein wenig OT aber wenn ich zu lesen bekomme "unter Windows, bei Linux könnte es Probleme geben", dann muss ich etwas dazu schreiben, da es einfach unwahr ist! Um dem Umbau soll es nicht in erster Linie gehen, da es sehr gute Anleitungen direkt bei Youtube gibt - es geht hier viel mehr um den USB-Stick, welcher richtig vorbereitet werden muss, da das System nach dem Umbau nicht installiert werden kann.

Beim Saturn gab es die Seagate STBX2000401 für 72€, eine externe Festplatte und drin steckt eine Samsung ST2000LM003 SATA III Festplatte, welche wir für unsere PS4 verwenden können. Warum kaufe ich nicht gleich die Festplatte? Mit dem Gehäuse kostet es mich mind. 25€ weniger und ich erhalte ein USB 3.0 Gehäuse für 2,5 Zoll Festplatten. Sucht einfach bei Youtube nach "STBX2000401 PS4" und Ihr bekommt sehr gute Anleitungen für den Umbau. Ihr habt (sobald das Gehäuse geöffnet wird) keine Garantie, deshalb würde ich die Festplatte erst einmal am Rechner ausprobieren.

Einfach umbauen und einstecken, dann wieder an den Rechner setzen und einen USB-Stick einstecken (min. 1GB sollte dieser groß sein).

Rechtsklick -> Formatieren

FAT32 auswählen (Laufwerksname spielt keine Rolle)

Nun wäre der USB-Stick bereit.

Auf der Playstation Homepage laden wir uns das System herunter (externe Link). Dort stehen uns mehrere Downloads zur Verfügung. Für uns wäre wichtig "Perform a New Installation of the System Software". Unten steht klein (graue Balken) DOWNLOAD NOW >> 

Nach dem Download müssen wir noch zwei Ordner auf dem USB-Stick erstellen

Der erste Ordner wäre PS4 und in diesem Ordner einen weiterer Ordner UPDATE, dort dann die heruntergeladene Datei kopieren und den Stick auswerfen (siehe Mauszeiger - per Rechtsklick -> sicher entfernen...).

USB-Kabel an den PS4-Controller, dann den USB-Stick einstecken und PS4 starten. Sollte noch die erste Firmware drauf sein, dann müsst Ihr die An/Aus Taste mind. 7 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.
Es erscheint eine Fehlermeldung "System kann nicht gestartet werden, bitte PS-Taste drücken" und dann bestätigen, schon wird das neue System aufgespielt. PS4 startet neu und das wäre schon alles. Euch stehen dann 1,76 TB zur Verfügung.

Ich habe dann noch die 500 GB Festplatte der PS4 in die PS3 eingebaut und die 120 GB Festplatte von der PS3 in das Gehäuse von Seagate. Ist zwar ziemlich klein aber so wird nichts weggeworfen.
Diese müsst Ihr dann formatieren, damit Ihr diese verwenden könnt (auch die alte 500 GB Festplatte der PS4, falls diese ins Gehäuse eingebaut wird).

Das geht am besten über GParted, einfach dann Laufwerk -> Partitionstabelle erstellen... -> OK
Wer noch nie mit GParted gearbeitet hat, der findet hier eine Anleitung.
Die neu gekaufte Festplatte für die PS4 muss nicht vorbereitet werden, da das die Playstation für euch erledigt, nur der USB-Stick ist wichtig.

Wer mit dem Gedanken spielt, eine SSD-Festplatte einzubauen (kosten ja noch richtig viel bei der Größe), der sollte sich einfach mal bei Youtube den Vergleich vom Channel "Tested", mit dem Titel "Tested: PlayStation 4 Hard Drive vs. SSD vs. Hybrid Drive", anschauen.
